Maria Lopushanska, environmentalist of Zakhidnadraservise Group, took part in the event ‘Dialogue between Government and Business’ organised by the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration

Maria Lopushanska, environmentalist of Zakhidnadraservise Group, took part in the Dialogue between Government and Business event, where the issues of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility of business were discussed.

The next meeting was dedicated to the green economy. The discussion focused on green thinking and new business ethics based on the principles of environmental awareness. More than 60 participants joined the discussion: entrepreneurs, civil servants, members of the public, and representatives of local self-government.

Maria Lopushanska, who is also the Chair of the Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment Committee at the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World, told entrepreneurs organising production processes about the need for pre-project screening. The speaker advised to first create a map of environmental constraints at the location of the future business and perform a number of necessary studies that will help to perform a qualitative environmental impact assessment.
